Boen Zhang, PhD Student
Boen Zhang received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Land Resource Management from Wuhan University in 2015 and 2018, respectively. His research focuses on examining climate-induced extreme events (droughts, floods, heat waves, etc.). He is particularly interested in exploring compound extreme events.
Yamin Qing, Research Assistant, Incoming PhD Student
Yamin Qing received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from North China Electric Power University in 2016, and then she received her Master's degree in Computer Applications Technology from North China Electric Power University in 2019. She is a skilled programmer and is familiar with advanced computing systems. Her research focuses on climate big data analytics and convection-permitting climate simulations for climate change impact studies.
Huijiao Chen, Research Assistant
Huijiao Chen received her Bachelor's degree in Geology from China University of Geosciences in 2015, and then she received her Master's degree in Cartography and Geographic Information System from Sun Yat-sen University in 2018. Her research focuses on quantifying uncertainties in hydroclimate predictions. She is also interested in examining climate change impacts on hydrology and water resources.
